The town of West Yellowstone, Montana, is a small mountain town located at the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. During the peak season (April – September) West Yellowstone is a hopping little town. With so many fun activities and a wealth of sights to see, you will be able to enjoy this amazing place while earning money! Activities in this area include: white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and so much more! There are plenty of great places in town to grab a bite to eat and places to have a good time. You can check out The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center or see a movie over at the IMAX theater. There is also a zip line course right here in town!

Of course, the main attraction for this area is America’s first and best National Park, Yellowstone! Come enjoy the beauty and wonder that is Yellowstone National Park! See amazing wildlife and breathtaking views! The weather can range from 50 to 80 Degrees Fahrenheit.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Cleans sleeping quarters, kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, common area spaces, outside patio areas, other areas as defined by the manager.
• Maintains and adheres to housekeeping detail standards. Cleans, vacuums, dusts, and sanitizes bathrooms, kitchens, and common area spaces.
• Makes beds.
• Sweeps, mops, and cares for all spaces.
• Replenishes supplies, such as kitchenware and toiletries. Sorts, counts, folds, marks, or carries linen and terry.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE:
5 Days a week 8 am-5 pm start time will vary. 2 Days off per week. Overtime is available! Second job at night is available, folding laundry!

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly Wage: $15
• Estimated weekly wages including tips: $600
• End of season bonus based on job performance

Estimated average number of hours per week: 40
All figures above are pre-tax

English Level required: Upper-Intermediate

Required to be 21+: No

Previous Experience required: No
Qualifications & Conditions:
Lifting (25lbs/11kgs) – linens, cleaning supplies, etc.
Standing for entire shift
Handling cleaning chemicals
Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes, preferably gym shoes. Black pants, leggings. T-shirt provided

There are many cultural opportunities to experience here in and around West Yellowstone. Learn to fly fish, go for a hike, go white water rafting, enjoy a trip to the local Wild West Rodeo, take a horse back ride, take a spin on a zip line, or just enjoy nature and the beauty of this area! The town of West Yellowstone has many local events during the summer. From farmers markets to Music in the Park there is always something fun going on. The local pizza place, Wild West Saloon, holds a karaoke night and DJ night every week during the summer months.
